Abhijit Kadam Institute of Management and Social Science’ was established in 1981 and is one of the oldest and reputed institutes in Western Maharashtra. Located in the heart of the city of Solapur, the institute is spread over in an area of 11,500.54 sq.mtrs, in lush green and pollution free area. The building of the institute is newly constructed with advanced facilities.. The institute has a separate Internet Lab, with facilities like printing. The students are allowed to access the internet throughout the day. It is recognized by the Shivaji University and also has an approval of the All India Council of Technical Education. Its Social Work course has an approval of the Social Welfare Department of Government of Maharashtra. The Institute has a newly constructed spacious building, with many classrooms, a library hall, computer laboratories, seminar halls and a conference room. The Institute undertakes Research Surveys in collaboration with NGOs and Industrial Organizations. The Institute has established Industry - Institution Interaction Cell to promote activities of common interest. The Institute has a good placement record. It takes eforts to bring about qverall development of the students. It is into associations such as Inquisintive circle and Personality development club. The Institute has established its reputation in the Shivaji University as one of the leading institutes of Management Education and of Social Work.
