  • The Department of Students’ Welfare (DSW) looks after the protection of rights and supervises the welfare activities of the students of Constituent Units of the university DSW promotes and co-ordinates the different students’ activities for better corporate life. DSW tries to nurture students' mental, physical, cultural growth with various activities to improve their overall personality development and to make them civilized Indian citizens to compete in the globalized world.

  • Anti-ragging Cell
    • The University has an Anti Ragging Committee headed by a senior faculty of the University. If the committee finds that prima facie there is a case of ragging on the Complaint it received, the committee will take immediate action including the filing of FIR with the local police depending on the seriousness of the case. Any student of Bharati Vidyapeeth University found indulging and / or abetting any form of ragging shall be meted out with exemplary and justifiably harsh punishment including debarring such students from taking admissions in any institutions of higher learning in the country.
  • Nirbhay Kanya Abhiyan (Fearless Girl Campaign)
    • The main objectives of this scheme includes development of self confidence how to defend oneself in any situation, training in self defense and finally make them fearless and be ready to face any unwanted situation. The scheme is open to all lady students of constituent Units of University. The university makes available requisite funds for undertaking this activity.
  • Central Placement Cell
    • The main endeavor of CPC, BVU is to get students placed in reputed multinational companies, government organizations, NGO’s and private sectors. All students registered with CPC will be provided placement assistance, counseling for employment and self/social entrepreneurship. CPC assures logistics support to the visiting companies at every stage of the placement process by making university infrastructure available to them. The CPC will act as an interface between the industry, institute and the students.
  • Soft Skills Programme
    • This Program includes training in Spoken English, ways and means to appear for an interview and total personality development basically good and effective communication skills. Putting one's best foot forward. At present it has been organized in limited number of constituent Units but in future it will be extended to include all Colleges and Institutes of the University. The response to the program is overwhelming amongst the rural based students and amongst overseas students.
  • Career Guidance Scheme
    • The growing interest and potential opportunities of Graduates/ Post graduate students, wishing to pursue their higher education and research across Globe. To fulfill the dream career of higher education of their choice, the Bharati Vidyapeeth University has established Higher Education Career Development Cell. This learning cell will offer GRE|GMAT|SAT|ToFEL|IELTS courses training, by a set of professional trainers, who are training since 1998. This learning Cell would also offer foreign language courses, offering French, Spanish, German and Japanese languages.
  • Students’ Safety Insurance Scheme
    • Bharati Vidyapeeth University is committed to providing a healthy, safe and secure environment: one which enhances the experience for students and allows staff in academic and service areas to work actively and creatively without risk of injury or illness.

    • The BVU conducts various seminars, conferences, workshops and camps to enable the student of BVU to become successful professionals. The details are given below:
  • Youth Festivals
    • There is Youth Festival Programs for which Constituent Units of the university sends its team. Ultimately these give our students an opportunity to understand the different parts of Maharashtra as well as the country. It is an opportunity for the students of Bharati Vidyapeeth University to test their accomplishments at state as well as national levels. This gives them the exposure and is celebration of cultural diversity and difference, a unity in diversity. The Department of Students Welfare take special care and interest that the students of the University /colleges/ institutes participate in these festivals with great zest.
