Profile
The College of Physical Education, which was established in 1994, offers a one year course leading to the B.Ed. (Physical Education) Degree. The College is recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education, New Delhi. Its degree is accepted by the Government of Maharashtra for the purpose of appointment as teachers in high schools. The syllabus of the course is so designed as to prepare a teacher to be good in the classroom, as well as, on the playground. Having an independent building; the College has its own full-fledge Gymnasium facilities and spacious well nurtured playground. Along with B.Ed. (Phy. Ed.) & M. P. Ed course, the College conducts a six-week long Gym Instructor certificate course. The University deputes teams of Sports persons of this College for participation in the inter-university and other national level tournaments, as well as, in the University level tournaments
