City Of Pune :
Pune, where the University has its main office is the historical and, cultural capital of state of Maharashtra. It is also its educational capital. Known as the Queen of Deccan, it is situated about 160 km. south of Mumbai; the commercial capital of the country. Well reputed I for its quality educational institutions; Pune attracts students from all parts of India and also from different parts of the world. Its picturesque natural surroundings, pristine weather conditions and cosmopolitan ethos are the major attractions.
How To Reach Pune :
Pune is well connected by rail, road and air to the major cities in India.It takes about 3 hours to reach Pune from Mumbai by the new super express highway. One can take a private taxi or bus or a government bus to reach here. A train journey from Mumbai to Pune also takes about 4 hours. Pune is connected by air to Mumbai,Delhi,Bangalore,Chennai,Goa,Hyderabad and quite a few other cities in India.
The University Office :
At present the main University Office is located in the ten storey building of Bharati Vidyapeeth, known as Bharati Vidyapeeth Bhavan, which is situated on the banks of the river Mutha in the Deccan Gymkhana area. The building is an important landmark of the city. The University will soon have its own independent building in our Dhankawadi campus in Pune.
