Bharati Vidyapeeth Dental College and Hospital,Navi Mumbai was established in the year 2004, to undertake the basic BDS degree course. The college has developed in to a premier institute of dentistry, easily accessible to all. The scenic location, perfect ambience and excellent facilities help in attracting our students and patients from all the parts of society.
The college and hospital is spread over 5.5 acres of land with a specially designed building having area about 1, 60,000 s.f. for both UG as well as PG courses. The basic departments concerned with medical subjects and their associated labs are made available within the premises. A well equipped clinical sections and labs with about 250 Dental Chairs attached with all the state of the art equipments and associated clinical and preclinical laboratories as per the DCI norms is available for students. The guidance is provided by a well qualified team of a senior faculty working full time with us.
In addition to this within the campus Girls Hostel with 56000 s.f. area spread over ground plus five floors with 149 rooms having 333 capacity is available for all students supported with dining and recreation facilities. The separate Boy’s Hostel with 33,000 s.f. ares having 76 rooms and 247 capacities is also available within the campus.
To update the knowledge the college is having the Central Library situated within the premises with excellent infrastructure spread over 6663 s.f. area having about 4300 books with 815 titles and about 55 National & International journals. In addition a separate internet library with 21 pcs, photocopying area, reading rooms reference sections for both staff & students is attached with the central library. Each and every department is also having departmental reference library with 50-75 books.
To improve the hospital activity the college is having air conditioned Mobile Dental Van with two Dental Chairs and all the latest equipments required for any dental operations. This van is used for community services for motivation to increase the dental awareness and to cater treatment free of cost.
