The Computer Laboratory The Computer Laboratory, equipped with tha latest hardware and software, is where well-qualified faculty, in computing skills, trains students of various programs. The Laboratory is quite spacious and houses three servers and PCL server, MySQL server, MS Project Server 2005, My HR, Tally Placementor, 21 UPS systems, 27 Airconditioners, 6 LCD Projectors, Novell Netware 6.5, Windows 2003 and Linuz. 400 Pentium nodes are attached to these servers All latest application Development environments such as C,C++, Java, Oracle, Visual Stdio, .NET, Power Builder, Rational Studio,MS Office 2003, SPSS & ERP softwares are available.
The Computer Centre is a place where students can use Internet Services, Printer Services, CDs on varius corses; and can prepare their Seminar presentations. The Centre has multiple nodes, My HR,ERP, Placementor training softwares for students placemnts, printers, scanners and CD writers to serve the students effectively.
Hostels : The hostel buildings are spacious and properly ventilated. The hostel rooms are well equipped with fans, tube-lights, cupboards (lockers), cot, chair and table. Every hostel has spacious dining hall where meals are provided at reasonable rates. Each hostel has a recreation hal lwoth a colour T. V. facilities for indoor games, internet, telephone / fax are avilable. Each hostel is installed with a solar system to provide hot water to the students. Medical facilities are also provided in the campus.

Profile
IMED was started in 1978. Prior to becoming a constituent unit of Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University in July, 2000, it had permanent recognition of University of Pune. It is one of the oldest Business Education Schools in Western India. IMED is housed in its own beautiful building located in Erandwane, Pune campus. It has a rich and updated library which subscribes to numerous national and international journals. The Internet facilities are made available to the students and faculty members. Its classrooms are equipped with modern audio-video equipment. The Institute boasts of a state of the art and well equipped computer centre with the latest hardwares and softwares. A Research Centre in the Management Studies is also located in the Institute wherein M.Phil, and Ph.D. Programmes in the subjects such as Business Administration, HR Studies and Computer Applications are offered. IMED also conducts various specialized short-term training programmes, in such areas as, entrepreneurship development. The Management and Computer related courses offered at the Postgraduate level by the Institute are approved by the AICTE. Besides, its own core faculty, the Institute has on its roll, experts drawn from industry and consultancy firms as its visiting faculty. Efforts are always made to give a wider exposure to the students in business and industrial organizations through interactive programmes, field visits, apprenticeship programmes, project report writing exercises and the like. The placement record of the Institute is excellent. Its alumni include highly placed executives working in reputed national and multinational campus or Entrepreneurs of their own industries. The Institute has carved out an enviable position for itself among the Business Schools in the country, with its academic excellence. It therefore attracts students from different parts of India; as well as, from abroad, including countries in South Asia, Middle East and Africa.
