Programme Overview

M.D. (Dermatology, Venereology & Leprosy) is a three-year postgraduate that is related to the branch of medicine that deals with the disorders of the skin. Through the programme, the students will be able to study various topics such as skin genetics, structure, skin reactions, immunology of dermatological diseases and more. The students will also be trained in initial medical, transitional and surgical aspects.

Programme Outcomes

Acquisition of Knowledge - Students will be able to know the requisite knowledge to diagnose and manage skin diseases, leprosy and sexually transmitted diseases.
Treatment - The programme will teach the students the methods to diagnose and treat various problems related to skin, leprosy and venereal diseases.
Research - During the programme, the students will learn various research methodologies and methods to interpret and analyze research literature.
