Programme Overview

The Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering department offers the best-in-class B.Tech programme in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. The duration of this undergraduate engineering programme is four years. The curriculum is designed to impart in-depth understanding and knowledge of signal processing and circuits. It also focuses on developing technical skills and providing hands-on experience through industrial visits and internships.

Programme Outcomes

Possess an ability to apply and demonstrate the usage of hardware and software platform for a variety of real-world applications keeping up with societal, environmental issues with professional ethics.
Develop an ability to apply mathematical and statistical methods for analysis and design of Electronic and Communication system.

Program Outcomes (PO):

B.Tech (E&TC) Graduate will be able to:

PO 1 - Apply the knowledge of Mathematics, Science and Engineering fundamentals to solve Electronics and Telecommunication engineering problems.
PO 2 - Identify, formulate and analyze complex Electronics and Telecommunication engineering problems.
PO 3 - Design systems, components and processes in the field of Electronics and Telecommunications that conform to the given specifications and cost constraints
PO 4 - Configure, apply test conditions and evaluate outcomes of experimental Electronics and Telecommunication systems
PO 5 - Select and use appropriate modern engineering tool for design and analysis in Electronics and Telecommunication, with an understanding of the constraints.
PO 6 - Work cooperatively, respectfully, creatively and responsibly as a member of a team
PO 7 - Communicate effectively using verbal, written and graphical skills.
PO 8 - Have awareness of societal, health, safety, legal, and cultural issues and understand responsibilities relevant to professional engineering practices.

Eligibility

The candidate should be Indian National.
Passed 10+2 examinations with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Technical vocational subject. Obtained at least 50% (45% in case of candidate belongs to reserved category (SC/ST) above subjects taken together. OR
Passed diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of backward class categories and persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra state only)

I am currently pursuing B Tech in Electronics and Telecommunication engineering from BVDUCOEP. The infrastructure is great and provides an excellent atmosphere along with modern facilities which promote a great learning environment and flexible schedules that suit to meet the needs of a student. The teaching methodology is very good. All the faculty members are very helpful and cooperative. They teach us with the latest skills and practices developed equipment and urge the students to think and come up with innovative ideas, techniques on their own.Apart from academics, my college always takes an extra effort by providing us opportunities like software training, Industrial visits, mini-projects, internships, etc. to develop our skills required to match the needs of the industry. Not only this various cultural and sports activities are also conducted for the overall development of the students in academic as well as the extracurricular field. It's an honour for me to be a part of BVDUCOEP.
