Dr. Binaya Kumar Pattnaik possesses a deep-seated passion for studying the geochemical processes that govern diverse ecosystems. His academic journey culminated in the attainment of a doctorate in Environmental Geochemistry from the esteemed National Institute of Technology (NIT), Rourkela, in 2018. His doctoral thesis titled: "Geochemistry of Water, Soil, and Sediment with Special Reference to Hexavalent Chromium at the Sukinda Ultramafic Complex, India," which significantly fueled his dedication to this particular research domain. Dr. Pattnaik holds both an M.Sc. in Environmental Science and an M.Tech. in Environmental Science and Engineering. His extensive contributions to the field have garnered recognition through publications in various international peer-reviewed journals. His research work predominantly revolves around comprehending the dynamics of contaminants within different environmental compartments and devising strategies to curtail their mobility.
