Dr. Ujwala Bendale is a law graduate from Symbiosis Society Law College, Pune in the year 1999 with Masters in Law from Pune University in 2001 and a Doctorate in Philosophy of Law in 2006 in Property Laws from Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune. She has been teaching Property laws since 2001 along with Constitutional law, law of torts, research methodology and International Human Rights.
She is academically strong as well administration of college is handled by her being In- charge Principal of BVDU New Law College, Pune in 2014 and 2018-19 and at present appointed as the Dean, Faculty of Law, Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune. She is a recipient of BEST TEACHER AWARD in 2003, 2014 and 2015. She is the Member of Academic Council of BVDU-2nd highest post in BVDU and is Member of several Cells in BVDU. She is research guide at BVDU since 2010 guiding 8 students out of which 6 are Ph.D awardee under her guidance.
Besides this nationally she is legal expert appointed by Bihar Public Service Commission for Bihar Judicial Service Interview Board and Rajasthan Public Service Commission for Rajasthan Judicial Services. Member, Technical Advisory Committee of ILC-I(International Longevity Centre- India).
Internationally she is Distinguished Member of International Council of Jurists (London) 2017-2021 and has Visited Boston, USA in 2010 for Harvard Model United Nations HMUN) as Legal Advisor with students representing Seychelles.
Dr. Bendale has publications in various National and International journals. She has organized, attended and co-ordinated various workshops and seminars at BVDU. To mention significant one is, in collaboration with CIPAM (DPIIT) Ministry of Commerce and Industry, India and has delivered lectures on Significance and Impact of IPR at various institutions of BVDU.
