Department has well established research culture and Works in the area of Renewable energy systems, Electric vehicle’s , electrical machines, Power systems, etc. Department has published more than 150 research papers in last 3 years in reputed National and International journals.
There are more than 17 patents to credit of Department. Laboratories are well equipped and meets the latest requirements of the syllabus. The syllabus is Revised in the 2023 as per National Education Policy (NEP) to meet the demand of core and IT Industries. To enhance the skills of students, vocational courses, industry taught courses, MOOCs have been incorporated in the Curriculum.
Platform is made to interact more and more with industry experts and to Associate with them in terms of inplant training of 60 days and sponsored project work. Department has established Electric vehicle Laboratory, switchgear and protection Laboratory in Association with the industry and have more than 20 lacs investment in the Laboratory by Industries like L & T, Propellex Solutions, Sensycon controls, etc.
Electrical & Computer Engineering Students Association i.e. ELECSA is very energatic Association run by the students and organises various co-curricular and extra curricular activities.
