Department of Robotics & Automation Engineering is striving hard towards the goal of providing innovative and quality education with high standard to achieve academic excellence and provides platform for the students to achieve their career goal. The various programmes have been revised time to time as per the current needs of the industry and society. The Department has a team of highly experienced and motivated faculty members who are in the process of tuning the young minds to make them globally competitive. Innovative methods of teaching and learning process are adopted to achieve learning abilities through practice, exposure and motivation.
In most recent revision of curriculum for B. Tech. R&A in 2021, innovative things such as vocational courses, industry taught courses, MOOCs, project based learning etc. are made mandatory. To enhance the programming skills of the students, courses based on C, C++, PYTHON, Machine Learning and MATLAB are included as part of practical courses. Along with regular academics, the students are encouraged to participate in co-curricular, extra- curricular and sports activities conducted by the department through Robotics & Automation Engineering Students’ Association (RAESA).
The department has strong relationships with highly reputed industries and internship opportunities to the students. It is my appeal to all budding engineers to come and join the department to make carries in Industries 4.0, IT sector, Central/State Government services etc. for higher studies in the institutes of high repute at national and international level or for becoming entrepreneurs.
