Classrooms

The classrooms at the institute are spacious and comfortable. Moreover, they are equipped with whiteboards and other digital equipment to provide a world-class teaching-learning experience to the students.

Labs

The institute has 5 computer labs each having capacity of 50 P-IV computers. The Information System Centre is professionally managed and equipped and all the computers are protected by Quick Heal Console Unit. 250,2,9. There is LAN and a well-powered back up.

An internet lab has been set up in C-S Environment with a Firewall built-in with the objective to prevent the virus from infecting the system. At the special internet labs, the students can access the internet for at least ten hours.

The internet lab is backed by Windows 2007 and Linux servers and there are more than 250 computers with the latest configuration. High-speed internet connection of 100 MBPS (Leased Line). is available. The faculty members and the students have access to LCD Projectors as well as the printers.

Seminar Hall

The seminar 3 hall has a seating capacity of 150 and is equipped with aids like LCD projectors, screens, and audio-visual and multimedia facilities for presentations. Also, the seminar hall is used for holding intra-department level seminars, symposia as well as small meetings.

Library

The library includes more than 23749 illustrate a collection of books. It includes Encyclopedia, Dictionary, Thesaurus, Biography, Autobiography, General Books, and Management, Computer applications and Social Sciences Books and competitive exam books

It is well equipped with Book Drop Box, Visitors Management systems, and a self-issue return system Using SOUL Library Management System It has an open access system, Student of the Month for all faculties and students as a unique feature.

University has the membership of e-shodhsindhu (Online Journals) and National Digital Library of India, Pearson and Wiley, Oxford Publisher, sage e-books E-books DELNET J-gate and Taylor & Francis e-journals Database are part of our World Class Digital Library.

AKIMSS has ensured that the students remain updated with the latest knowledge and hence it has a library which houses more than 23749 books and over 15 National and International journals and magazines. The library has audio-visual facilities through video cassettes, tapes, CD-ROMs and VCDs & Internet connection. DELNET facility is provided for access to a number of journals for the reference of students, academicians, and research scholars.

There is an open access system for all faculty as well as a Book Bank facility for students. The Institute has the membership of British Council of India and recognized libraries in Pune. J-GATE (Online Journals) is an integral part of the world-class Digital Library.

All types of magazines and periodicals related to the fields of management, computers, humanities, and social science are available in the library. There is a spacious reading room which is open for the students throughout the day. Every year new books and periodicals are added to the library.

In order to ensure that the students make optimum utilization of the resources, the library offers flexible timings. On examination days, the library is kept open till 11 pm, as well as for 2 hours on Sundays and public holidays.
