Rural Health Training Centre, Lavale

26 km from Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University Medical College, Pune. Covers 13 villages from Mulshi block of Pune district. Catering to approximately 49414 population.

RHTC Lavale renovated and upgraded its OT and from January 2019 started laparoscopic camp at RHTC, Lavale in collaboration with Primary Health Centre, Mutha. As on 31st March2020, 14 laparoscopic camps conducted at RHTC Lavale. Total 191 patients under went laparoscopic TL surgery. *Field Based Activities RURAL Health & Demographic Surveillance System (HDSS), Lavale-HDSS is a household census system to monitor health trends, diseases (communicable & non-communicable as well) and vital events (births, deaths, migration, marriage etc.) in the population. HDSS initiated in area under Rural Health & Training Centre (RHTC), Lavale on 1st January 2019.RHTC, located 26 km from the medical college, covers 13 villages from Mulshi block of Pune district.

Urban Health Training Centre, Sadashiv Peth, Pune

Located 08 km from the medical college, covers 03 Municipal wards namely Ghole road, Kasaba-Vishrambagwada and Tilak road. It caters to a population of 60435 from 133 slums.

URBAN Health & Demographic Surveillance System (HDSS)

It is a household census system to monitor health trends, diseases (communicable & non-communicable as well) and vital events (births, deaths, migration, marriage etc.) in the population. HDSS initiated in area under Urban Health & Training Centre (RHTC), Lavale on June 2019 UHTC.
