The role of anaesthesiologist is no more limited in the operation theatre but an anaesthesiologist is now also an intensivist, pain physician, emergency physician, in addition to the perioperative physician.
Our department provides round -the -clock quality health care service not only in the operation theatres but also in various non- operation theatre locations across the hospital.
We provide structured fellowship courses in paediatric anaesthesia and pain in addition to postgraduate training. We train our postgraduate students as well as fellows in a conducive teaching environment to enhance their intellectual, clinical, practical skills and make them capable of providing comprehensive as well as empathetic patient care which is the need of the hour.
All the latest gadgets and equipments are available and our PGs are well versed with them and routinely use them. In addition and rigorous clinical training our students are strongly encouraged to perform research projects in the field. Our alumni have numerous achivements and have been successful in various subspecialities of anaesthesia.
