Training/ Internship

1. Short term project

• Duration: 4 months or 6 months
• Announcement: In September every year
• Applications screening, shortlisting and interviews: In October
• Project start: In December/January
• Fees : M.Sc. Project - INR. 25000/-
  B.Sc. Project - INR. 10000/-
  Fees are independent of the project period.
• Publication of the project findings can be done only with the permission from the Director, IRSHA.

2. Internship/ Assistantship

• Duration: Minimum 3 months (Applications are accepted throughout the year)
• Candidate will be assigned to a specific department as per his/her field of interest.
• No fees/ No stipend for internship

3. Observership

• Duration: 15 days to 1 month (April/May and October/November)
• No project or specific research project will be assigned, only involves observation of the work flow and lab processes.
• No fees

Application process

• Students are required to apply directly (via email) to the faculty of their interest with an updated resume. Please mention the type of training program you are applying for.
• Application email must be sent at least one month prior to the project starting period.
• A recommendation letter from the College principle or HOD must be submitted before starting the Short-term project.

Rules and regulations :

• Raw data generated from the project work carried out by the student under any category should be retained at the respective department at IRSHA.
• One copy of the work report should be submitted to the department and one copy to the Nodal officer assigned for each type of project activity.
• Candidates must adhere to the institute’s rules and regulations for working hours and utilization of facilities and other aspects.
• Certificates will be awarded to students on successful completion of the project as per the requirements of the institute.
