Student Activities

Apart from the excellent academic facilities, AKIMSS also encourages students to participate in various extra-curricular activities such as student clubs, sports and cultural activities. These activities allow students to express their special talents and enable them to develop their personalities holistically.

Students Clubs

Various clubs are run by the students under the supervision of the faculty to engage themselves in different kinds of extra-curricular activities. The clubs liven up the lives of the students and also inculcate team spirit and leadership qualities in them.

Sports Activities

In the present era, student life is not just about academics. One needs to excel in sports and other physical activities. Hence, various outdoor and indoor sporting events are organized on a regular basis so that the students are both mentally fit and physically fit.

The institute has encouraged its students to participate in extracurricular activities including sports and games. We have facilities for outdoor games. For games like football and cricket we use Nehru Nagar Ground belonging to the state govt. The table tennis – indoor game facilities is available in Boys common room.

Cultural Activities

The institute takes all possible steps to uphold the culture and tradition of the country. Hence, the students as well as the faculty members actively take part in various cultural activities that are organized periodically to showcase their talent and take part in various competitions
