Department of Basic Science and Humanities is an excellent blend of veteran, competent, and dynamic young faculties. They are vigorously involved in teaching and research activities to fulfill educational objectives. Department contributes to laid a foundation of Engineering and make students ready to peruse their career in engineering. It imparts knowledge in various subjects like Engineering Mathematics, Engineering Physics, Engineering Chemistry, Professional Skill Development, Humanities and Management to build up roadmap for their career.
Department is proud to share its glory here as it has total seventeen faculties, out of which eleven faculties have been awarded PhD degree from esteemed Universities/Institutions across globe such as Bharati Vidapeeth (Deemed to be University), Pune, Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune, Symbiosis International Deemed to be University, Pune, Shivaji University, Kolhapur, Siegen University, Gemany, Rajiv Gandhi Prodyugiki Vishwavidyalay, Bhopal etc. and three faculty members are pursuing their PhD degree. Three faculty members qualified NET/SET. Faculties have been presented and published research papers in various reputed National /International level journals and conferences. It has well operational laboratories like Engineering Physics, Engineering Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Nanophysics and Language and skill development lab.
Faculties are at the forefront in significant activities like Entrance Test, admission committee, sports and cultural, academic committee, and social programs. They smooth the progress of students by counseling and guiding them in their academic and added difficulties. Faculty members have been selected as a member on a range of committees like Board of studies, academic council and other committees of university and facilitating as resource person.
