National Periodontist Day!
The Department of Periodontology at Bharati Vidyapeeth Dental College and Hospital, Navi Mumbai came together to honor National Periodontist Day on 1st March 2025 with great enthusiasm! A lively skit by our talented PG students and interns, highlighting the importance of periodontal health. An engaging fun quiz that tested knowledge and sparked insightful discussions. Announced winner of the smile contest. A brushing station was arranged at the college entrance for a week where the interns explained brushing techniques to the patients. A huge thank you to Dr. Prajakta Rao (Professor & Head, Department of Periodontics) for leading this initiative and to our Principal, Dr.V.Sreenivasan, for the constant support. The event was a fantastic reminder of the pivotal role Periodontists play in ensuring optimal oral health and the importance of spreading awareness about gum health and periodontal care.
