The first session of DMS Talks – Season 2 was organised on 5th November 2025 by the Socratic Club of Department of Management Studies, Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Navi Mumbai. The session featured Mr. Soumit Das, who delivered an engaging talk on “Designing Your Financial Freedom.”

The interactive session aimed at enhancing participants’ financial decision-making skills and helped them understand the broader meaning of financial freedom, including financial security, independence, and lifestyle choices.

The event was organised by the Socratic Club with the support of student volunteers under the supervision of Dr. Neha Sharma, Assistant Professor and Head - Socratic Club, and under the guidance of Dr. Premasish Roy, Director - Department of Management Studies, Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Navi Mumbai. Participants reported gaining valuable insights into savings, investments, and budgeting, and felt more confident about making informed financial decisions.
