Faculty

He is a researcher in operations and supply chain management whose work focuses on regenerative supply chains, with a particular interest in how firms can move beyond conventional sustainability toward systems that actively restore ecological and social well-being. His research examines how regenerative capabilities are developed in upstream supply chains through processes such as ecological embeddedness, ecological sensemaking, and place-based transformation, especially in Indian agri-food contexts. Using a qualitative, grounded-theory-oriented approach supported by interviews, field observations, and archival data, he seeks to build processual and dynamic models that explain how organizations can operate within planetary boundaries while generating environmental, social, and economic value.
