Profile

Assistant Professor of Environmental Engineering specializing in solid waste management, sustainability assessment, and quality of life (QoL) outcomes. She is pursuing her Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from Symbiosis International (Deemed University). A double postgraduate, she holds an MBA (HRM) and an M.A. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology.

She has teaching experience at Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (Deemed to be University), Symbiosis Skills and Professional University, University of Mumbai, and Savitribai Phule Pune University. In addition to her academic roles, she has industry experience in the supply chain and logistics sector, which strengthens her understanding of operational systems, resource optimization, and sustainability practices. Bringing combined experience from industry and academia, she contributes interdisciplinary expertise and practical insights to environmental engineering education and sustainable waste management research.

Her research integrates circular economy principles, life cycle assessment (LCA), and waste-to-resource technologies to develop resilient and resource-efficient solid waste management systems. She examines environmental, socio-economic, and public health dimensions of waste systems, with particular focus on quality of life (QoL) assessment and policy–operations integration for sustainable urban and rural development aligned with national climate and sustainability goals.
