BVIEER is an amazing institute! The courses they offered are so different and exciting, and they really challenged me to think outside of the box. One of the best things about BVIEER was the dissertation experience - I got to explore a topic that I was really passionate about, and the faculty were there to guide and support me in every step . It was honestly such a great opportunity to dig deep and produce work that I was really proud of. I also had the chance to participate in a joint exchange program with a university in Germany! That experience was totally unforgettable and really gave me a unique perspective on my field of study. Plus, there were other learning experiences like auditor courses, internship, conferences and trips for hands-on learning that really made the "learning by doing" concept come to life. The faculty is experienced and passionate about teaching that it made learning an absolute joy. I would definitely recommend BVIEER to anyone looking for a one-of-a-kind educational experience. The courses are different, the opportunities are amazing, and the faculty is top-notch. Trust me, you won't regret it!

I'm currently in the last semester of my Masters in Wildlife Conservation Action at BVIEER. My experience while studying at this institute has been positive. During the course we were exposed to a blend of theoretical and field based learning alongwith guest lectures from experts in the field. The curriculum is transdisciplinary and focuses on various aspects of conservation. The assignments and continuous assessment conducted in the institute helps the students to broaden their thinking, be innovative, indulge in self study and learning, and go beyond what is taught in the class, thus, focusing on their holistic development. The faculty is approachable and always ready to help the students out. The course offers those interested with an opportunity to participate in a student exchange programs with the University of Cologne. The institute provides students with opportunities to participate in various national and international level conferences, giving them a global platform to present their work. This institute is the right choice for those who wish to gain insights about conservation and gain learnings and a skill-set pertaining to the various fields associated with it.

Tanaya Rele Batch : Batch : MSc Wildlife Conservation Action, (Batch of 2021-23)

I'm currently pursuing my master's degree in Wildlife Conservation Action at Bvieer. The course is not perfect, but you'll meet one of the most dedicated set of professors who go above and beyond to facilitate effective learning. There's a good exposure to experts from the field with fieldwork-based learning and guest lecture sessions. The assignments offer a great learning experience FOR THOSE STUDENTS WHO SERIOUSLY DO THEM. They also have an good student exchange program with the University of Cologne of which I happened to be a part of. The second year of the course has a focus on mentored learning through dissertation work and internships. One thing I loved the most about the course is that nothing is spoonfed, students are free to forge their own conservation path. One thing that I absolutely hated are that the examination system for some of the subjects are outdated, subjects that don't really need a final exam end up having a paper which has more weightage than the assignments that frankly teach more. All in all, the course looks at unifying the mantle of conservation as a human movement through a transdisciplinary approach rather than an expert led movement which is excellent considering the current times.

Two years in bvieer was a fun rollercoaster ride. the syllabus is intresting and up-to-date with current requirement in the field. not just a theoretical knowledge but practical and field visits made learning easy. The curriculum is inclusive of all aspects of environment which make students to work in different environment related sectors.

This Institute is perfect for the one who want to have a good research atmosphere for both Environment, wildlife and GIS. It also have superb connection with plenty of Foreign University specially University of Cologne with a 2 week exposure tour to Cologne Germany. This helps a lot in my research and dissertation purpose and also in the winter International conference.

All the students from my batch got Internship in GIS based companies with very good Stipend ranging from INR 10,000 to INR 18,000. Students are working in NGO's, Small organizations and Top companies as well. GIS Analyst, GIS Engineer, GIS Trainee, Photogrammetry Data Processor, UAV operator, etc. are the roles offered.
                 Geoinformatics at BVIEER is worth for your money. The Institute has well equipped updated GIS computer lab, UAV for Demonstration on field. Classrooms give an amazing platform to experience real-time learnings with Video Conferencing lab and Guest lecturers. Teachers are well educated with knowledge of current demands for GIS in world. Very Cooperative and students are very friendly to them whenever the students are required guidance. Geoinformatics course in designed in such way that any graduate from non- technical background can also Survive and learn from basics to advance with his/her will power. Here I mention that students are required to give their best in learning and adapting new learnings. Semesters exams are not much complicated but, student has to revise the learnings everyday so that it makes easy to qualify the exam. Since, I was attending my UG programme in Agriculture, I found a curiosity in GIS. I searched for more information on internet. I was excited to study Geoinformatics and apply that knowledge in Agriculture field.

The institute has helped to learn and enhance my knowledge of wildlife in relation with conservation. The course structure is well designed for students. The most interesting part of the course is the field visit to different areas where they teach and train us to understand the important conservation parameters. The infrastructure is amazing with almost all the essentials required for the students and course  present. They conduct different guest lectures held by renowned personalities as speakers who are working in the field of environment and conservation. Overall, my journey with the institute was full of learning and enjoying new experiences.

I would start with the campus, believe me, it’s gorgeous. It provides a great infrastructural environment that is pretty important. Second, the course structure is pretty good and provides actual practical implementation in the conservation field which most of the renowned glorified institutions in India lack. The course structure focuses not just on the ecological aspects of conservation but equally to the social aspects of conservation which is very important. Most assignments are pretty interesting and to the point and really lets you explore on your own rather than guiding you in a particular direction forcefully. Overall it provides a great technical, theoretical and field based education. Sometimes the packed schedule can be a bit overwhelming but it will only make you tougher.

Good atmosphere for the student of Environment Science and technology , Geoinformatics & Wildlife Conservation program. There are ample resources available for students who are interested in pursuing research in these fields, and the faculty members are the best and most supportive I have ever encountered. For me ,one of the things that really stands out about this institution is the amount of study material available and which I got. The library is well-stocked with books, journals, and other resources that are directly relevant to our program, and the online databases are easy to use and offer a wealth of information. This has been invaluable in helping me to deepen my understanding of the topics .But what really makes this institution stand out is the quality of the faculty. The professors are not only knowledgeable and passionate about their subjects, but they are also dedicated to helping the students succeed. They are always available for one-on-one meetings and are happy to offer guidance and support whenever it is needed.

I recently completed my Master's in Wildlife Conservation Action from this Institute. In Wildlife Biology, we typically focus on the physiology, behavior, and environmental interactions of animals. However, the Wildlife Conservation Action program at BVIEER emphasizes multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary approaches to wildlife protection and conservation. Our fieldwork and assignments are designed to reflect this broader perspective. I had the incredible opportunity to participate in joint fieldwork at Pench Tiger Reserve, alongside students from Germany. This experience was a fantastic opportunity for cross-cultural learning. One of the best aspects of this course is the structure— the entire third semester is dedicated to the thesis, offering students significant creative freedom. The fourth semester is reserved for internships, where we apply our theoretical and practical knowledge while enhancing our skills. During my time at BVIEER, I have developed critical thinking, leadership, and problem-solving skills essential for conservation work. I've also become more resilient, as this field presents many challenges and setbacks. This course not only imparts theoretical knowledge but also hones the skills needed to excel in real-world settings."
