Programme Overview

D.M. (Critical Care Medicine) is a three-year postgraduate super-speciality programme that trains the students to develop proficiency in the management of the care of critically ill patients and to develop the skills required to diagnose and treat them. Through the programme, the students will also receive specialized training in critical care medicine.

Programme Outcomes

Knowledge of Critical Care - Students will learn the general and specialist aspects of critical care so that they are able to work in wider environments.
Training - During the programme, the students will be trained to diagnose and treat patients with serious medical and surgical diseases.
Research - Students will be taught how to study and apply research literature in the delivery of health care.
