Activities/Program Details |
The School of Physiotherapy, Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be
University), Pune,
organized an Induction Program on 1st August 2025 to welcome the newly
admitted students
of the First Year BPT
(Bachelor of Physiotherapy) batch. The event aimed to introduce students
to the
institution’s ethos, academic
expectations, and faculty members, setting a positive tone for their
journey ahead. The
lamp lighting ceremony
marked the auspicious beginning of the academic journey. Senior students
shared
testimonials, motivating the
freshmen. Esteemed guest Dr. Raziya Nagarwala delivered inspiring
speeches emphasizing
the importance of
physiotherapy in modern healthcare. She highlighted the importance of
evidence-based
practice and continuous
learning to stay updated in
the profession. She encouraged students to focus on empathy and
patient-centered care
alongside clinical skills.
She shared personal anecdotes from her teaching career, inspiring
students to pursue
academic excellence. Her
speech motivated students to contribute meaningfully to society and
uphold the ethics of
the physiotherapy
profession. Faculty members were introduced, and students were oriented
about the
university, course structure,
and code of conduct. The program concluded with an interactive museum
visit.
