Activities/Program Details |
BVDU School of Physiotherapy had the privilege of being one of the medical partners for the prestigious SFA Championships, a national-level sports tournament held in Pune from November 18 to 28, 2024. This event showcased the athletic prowess of children aged 8 to 18 across various disciplines. Our physiotherapy team was actively involved from 22nd to 28th November 2024, providing dedicated support to young athletes. A team of 4-5 physiotherapists was scheduled daily based on their availability, ensuring comprehensive coverage throughout the tournament. The event commenced at 8:00 am each day and was a full-day commitment. The therapists skillfully managed a range of sports injuries, including sprains, strains, confusion, and overuse injuries. Pre-match preparations, injury prevention strategies, and post-match recovery sessions were also provided to enhance athlete performance and safety. The collaboration not only highlighted the importance of physiotherapy in sports but also enhanced the reputation of BVDU School of Physiotherapy as a trusted partner in supporting athlete health and performance. |
