Activities/Program Details |
The event, held under the powerful global theme “Unique and United,” was a collaborative initiative organized by the Department of Paediatrics at Bharati Hospital. The Activity featured a series of engaging activities that captivated participants from start to finish. The day commenced with an interactive session between parents and the expert panel of doctors and rehabilitation specialists like Pediatric Developmental and Neurology experts Dr Leena Srivastava and Dr Prerna Choudhury (Neuro), Dr Sandeep Patwardhan and Dr. Chaitrali Gundawar (Pediatric Orthopedician), Pediatric physiotherapists Dr. Chetana Kunde and Dr Saloni Raje and Speech-Language Pathologist Dr. Arti Waknis, along with the whole Neurodevelopmental team. Topics pertaining to a better understanding of Cerebral Palsy and its management were discussed in the interaction in answer to queries from parents. This was followed by a creative Poster Making Competition that saw enthusiastic participation from students of Physiotherapy, Nursing, Medical College, and Speech and Audiology. Miss Khadija won the poster competition. The children were then treated to a delightful Magic Show, which filled the physiotherapy rehabilitation area with laughter and wonder. The event concluded with a knowledgeable Panel Discussion for faculty and residents focusing on advancing care, support for Cerebral Palsy and discussing future pathways for integrated care. “The energy and unity we witnessed at the occasion were truly humbling,” stated an attendee's parent. “Seeing the children laugh during the magic show, our students engage so creatively, and our faculties delve into meaningful Panel discussions, was the perfect embodiment of being ‘Unique and United’ voiced by Dr. Lalwani, the Medical Director and Dr. Oswal, who also graced the occasion and gave valuable inputs to the comprehensive care. |
