Department of Chemical Engineering of Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) College of Engineering, Pune successfully conducted social initiative programme named “Engagement of People with Science and Technology” for Mamasaheb Mohol Madhyamik Vidyalaya, Warje, Pune on 25th April 2018. The main objective of the programme was to make the students aware about the career opportunities in the field of Science, Commerce, Arts and Skill based diploma courses. In addition to this presentations were also held on “Way of effective learning” and “Awareness about adverse effects of electronic gadgets”

Faculty of Chemical Engineering, Dr. Mrs. Sunita M. Jadhav, Dr. Mrs. Veena A. Shinde, Dr. Mrs. Shambala N. Shinde and Mr. Sagar C. Bandpatte have taken initiative in the organization and successful conduction of the said programme. Students of B. Tech. Chemical Engineering, Sem –VI who have also participated actively in the programme are Aayushi Shukla, Tulika Singh, Nalini Singh, Prakhar Garg, Pritesh Ghatawat, Ashish Chavan, Sarang Topale, Saumya Sharma, Amisha Pandey, Sarang Tapole and Janhvi Chopra. The programme was very well appreciated by school authorities and students of the school. Many students have requested to conduct such programmes more frequently, since they found the content of the programme very relevant and useful.
