Department of Chemical Engineering has celebrated Engineers Day on 15th September 2018. An expert lecture was organized for the students on the eve of Engineers Day. Mr. Jagdish Bennale has given an interesting and very innovation talk on “Micro-bioreactors” and role of Chemical Engineer in design and development of micro-reactors. The centre of interaction was around micro-titer plate that gives unique mass transfer performance with online measurements with reference to fermentation parameters. He has also elaborated the stepwise methodology to standardize micro-bioreactors with relevant industrial examples. After completion of the lecture, the conferment ceremony was conducted for IIChE members by the hands Mr. Jagdish Bennale. At the end vote of thanks was given by Miss Monica Singh.
