An alumnus of the Film and Television Insitute of India (FTII), Pune, with an academic
foundation spanning technology and mass communication (UGC NET qualified), he brings a
combined industry practice and higher-education mentorship to the department. Having
previously held faculty appointments at institutions including Lovely Professional University
and Annapurna College of Film and Media, his teaching bridges rigorous classical film
grammar with contemporary digital workflows.
His practical pedagogy is centred around narrative continuity, spatial staging, lighting
aesthetics, and precision camera mechanics. Actively working across independent cinema,
commercial fiction, and documentary formats, he specializes in large-sensor digital cinema
ecosystems, high-dynamic-range color management, and DaVinci Resolve post-production
pipelines.
At BVSP, he leads core studio courses, mentors capstone film projects, and oversees academic
curriculum developments aligned with contemporary industry standards.
