The Centre for European Studies (CES) is a multi-disciplinary department. We conduct Exchange programs, Dual Degree Programs & Research collaborations. Our aim at the centre is to increase the cross cultural and flow of international students with the help of Dual Degree programs and Overall collaborations for the research.

ERASMUS + PROJECTS

Bharati Vidyapeeth University has received a project of INR 9 Crores from the prestigious European Commission to a consortium of 11 universities to research Sports Education in India, Sri Lanka and Indonesia under the Erasmus plus project. This initiative is aimed at capacity building in the field of Sports, Physiotherapy, and Physical Education through research and community development. Out of the 1005 applications that the project received from across the globe. The European Union’s Erasmus+ program is a funding scheme to support activities in the fields of education, training, youth, and sport. Erasmus+ funds academic mobility and cooperation projects that involve partners from “Programme Countries” and “Partner Countries” throughout the world.

This is the third time in a continue that BVDU has received the Erasmus grant. The other universities which are a part of the consortium include LPU, International School of Business & Research, Edulab educational exchange, Bogor agricultural university, Syiah Kuala University, Indonesia, Universitat Politecnica De Valencia, Universidade De Lisboa, Universitas Sumatera Utara, Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka, University of Peradeniya, and Universitas Syiah Kuala. The project was led by Prof Dr Kirti Mahajan, Head Division of International Affairs, BVDU.
