The faculty is responsible for the diagnosis, treatment planning, rehabilitation and maintenance of the oral function while ensuring comfort, appearance and health of patients with clinical conditions associated with missing or deficient teeth. Restoration of oral function is done through prostheses and restorations (i.e., complete dentures, crowns, implant retained/supported restorations).
The department also provides equal emphasis to their patients and students by providing innovative teaching methodologies and research.
The Department of Prosthodontics and Crown & Bridge believes in restoring function of dental and oral tissues using aesthetic principles. The Department offers diagnosis, treatment planning, rehabilitation and maintenance of the oral function, while ensuring comfort, appearance and health of patients with clinical conditions associated with missing or deficient teeth. It specializes in implant, aesthetic and reconstructive dentistry. Restoration of oral function is done through prostheses and restorations (i.e., complete dentures, crowns, implant retained/supported restorations). We rehabilitate completely and partially edentulous patients with complete dentures, removable & fixed partial dentures, maxillofacial prosthesis and intra and extra-oral implants.
