Under Graduate Section

  • Undergraduate section in our department comprises of Clinical section, Laboratory for Students and Department Library.
  • In Clinical section third and Final year BDS students work on patients to complete the cases as per the quota and also do presentation of Seminars as per the schedule given by the in- charges.
  • In under graduate laboratory is well equipped with plaster dispenser, Model trimmers, lathe machines, Wax bath, Acrylizer and Clamps for laboratory work. Students complete their lab work related to the clinical cases.
  • In department library, students issue and read the books as and when required.

Post Graduate Section

  • Post Graduate section is the heart of the Prosthodontic department, playing a vital role in patient care.
  • All Post Graduates are well trained in Pre-clinical Prosthodontics as well as Clinical management of all cases including special cases like, Implants, Maxillofacial Prosthodontics etc, Interdisciplinary approach to treatment, teaching and Research skills, presentation skills etc.
  • Post graduate section in our department comprises of Post Graduate Clinic, Sterilization Room, Seminar hall, and Implant Section.

In dental Material science lab, first and second year BDS students do the preclinical DMS work that is manipulation of different materials in practical classes as per the schedule. They also are trained for laboratory work for complete dentures and removable partial dentures.

The Undergraduate students and Post graduate students are tained in this lab on simulators/ phantom heads, for the tooth preparation of Fixed partial dentures, ie crown and bride preparation.

There is a well equiped Implant surgery room, where Implant surgeries are done. Implant placements and prosthetic stages are carried out here. The room has also got the facility for X-ray machine and RVG.

Ceramic and casting labs are euipped with state of the art euipments.

Metal, ceramic and all ceramic wotk is carried out for the patients, Acrylic complete and partial dentures are also fabricated here.
