Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS) is a specialized branch of surgery that focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of conditions affecting the face, jaws, mouth, and related structures. This field of medicine combines elements of dentistry and medicine, making it a unique and essential discipline within healthcare.

We play a pivotal role in enhancing both the aesthetics and functionality of the face, jaws, and mouth. It encompasses a wide range of surgical procedures. We are dedicated to improving the overall health and well-being of their patients through precise and advanced surgical interventions.

Our Mission

  • Comprehensive Patient Care: OMS departments provide comprehensive care for a wide range of oral and facial conditions, including dental implants, wisdom teeth extraction, corrective jaw surgery, facial trauma reconstruction, and more. They often serve as referral centres for complex cases.
  • Highly Skilled Surgeons: We are staffed by highly trained and skilled oral and maxillofacial surgeons who have completed extensive education and residency training in the field. They bring expertise in surgical treatments.
  • Teaching and Education: we are actively involved in teaching and training future oral and maxillofacial surgeons. They offer residency programs, continuing education, and research opportunities.
  • Research and Innovation: we engage in various research activities aimed at advancing the field. This can lead to the development of new surgical techniques, devices, and treatment modalities.

  • 30 electronic Chairs for UG.
  • For PG students there are separate clinical compartments.
