About Department

The Department of Prosthodontics focuses on the diagnosis, treatment planning, rehabilitation and maintenance of the oral function, comfort, appearance and health of patients.

The category of patients that are dealt with in this department has clinical conditions associated with missing or deficient teeth and/or intraoral and extraoral tissues. The rehabilitation of oral function is done through prostheses and restorations (i.e., complete dentures, removable and fixed partial dentures, maxillofacial prostheses, implant retained/supported restorations).

The department is spacious and well-equipped for undergraduate/postgraduate students, pre-clinical sections and digital seminars. A new dimension to treatment planning has been introduced due to the addition of recent materials and the latest equipment.
