Overview
The National Service Scheme (NSS) is a student-focused programme that gives young people anopportunity to learn
through community service. Its main idea is simple — “Not Me But You.”NSS encourages
students to understand society, identify community needs, work together andtake responsibility.
At Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Department of Management Studies, NaviMumbai, NSS provides
students with opportunities to participate in social awareness activities,community service, cleanliness
initiatives, cultural programmes, volunteering and other service-oriented activities.
NSS is not only about conducting programmes. It is about learning through participation.Students get the
opportunity to develop teamwork, communication, leadership, problem-solvingand a sense of social
responsibility while contributing to the communit
