About Department

Established in the year 1990 the department has experienced and competent faculty as per CCH norms. With the intake of 100 students every year our department is home to undergraduate students who desire strong training in human physiology and biochemistry that will prepare them for understanding of medicine.

Vision

To impart comprehensive and applied knowledge of normal functions of the body to the student and facilitate understanding of the physiological basis of health and disease.

Mission

Providing qualitative education to students to undertake different responsibilities and to cope up with challenges, problems and opportunities during clinical practice of Homeopathy as a holistic science.

Objective

Explain the normal functions of the organ system and their interactions for coordination of the body functions.
Assess the contribution of each system in maintenance of milieu interior.

Highlights

Joint seminar with Department of Anatomy on G.I.T system

Department seminars as well as joint seminars with Dept of Anatomy, Integrated seminars with other departments of clinical subjects of Homeopathy are arranged regularly for students.

Physiology Department Visit to Blood Bank

Extra-curricular activity: - Blood bank visit and voluntary donation & Ayurvedic hospital for Auto-analyzer demonstration.

A well-equipped laboratory that conducts Practical’s of Hematology, Biochemistry and Clinical physiology for study of physiological phenomena and skill development.

Remedial measures to assist students in order to achieve expected competencies in core academic skills.

The University result for I sat BHMS batch 2021-2022 is 100%

Paper discussion of theory exam is conducted. Counseling of the student is done through Teacher ward system and teacher - parents meetings.
