Driven by a passion for leveraging geospatial technology for safer communities, DrAravinth specializes in applying remote sensing, GIS, and numerical modeling techniques to understand, mitigate, and manage landslide hazards. His expertise lies in developing vulnerability and risk models, conducting advanced slope stability analysis using 2D & 3D LEM and FEM techniques, and employing Terrestrial LiDAR and drone mapping for detailed site assessments. He is passionate about translating complex research findings into practical solutions and collaborating with local stakeholders to implement effective risk management strategies. Driven by a love for teaching and research, he is committed to bridging the gap between earth observation technology and on-the-ground action to create a more resilient future.
