On August 7,2026, the CSR Team of The Times of India, led by Ms. Meenu Sharma, visited the Institute of Environment Education and Research (IEER), Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Pune, for an interactive session on e-waste management and responsible disposal practices.
The initiative combined awareness with practical action. As part of the programme, the Times of India CSR Team donated an e-waste collection bin to the Institute and brought an e-waste collection drive van to the campus to support the collection of electronic waste.
The initiative also encouraged student participation and leadership, with three students volunteering as student representatives. They will coordinate e-waste collection across the campus and liaise with the collection team to ensure its smooth operation.
