Prof Dr. Shamita Kumar , Principal BVIEER was invited as a key resource person in the 7th National Workshop on Education for Sustainable Development (ESD. The workshop, held in Shillong and organised by NCERT in association with the Department of Education, Shillong, brought together educators from across the country. As part of the nationwide roll-out ) of ESD as a core component of Global Citizenship Education (GCED), by NCERT, Dr. Kumar contributed practical insights, field experiences, and innovative approaches to integrating ESD into classrooms across India.
