Studying at Bharat Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) was a big dream which make me competent, especially in clinical optometry and the whole aspect of binocular vision issues the experience which I had, at the School of Optometry I have found it nowhere. BVP was the only place where education and fun were sandwiched.

I was fortunate to find Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) to do my optometry degree. It was a colorful four-year experience in Pune. We were blessed to have a group of committed experienced and young faculty members. We were taught our abc's of optometry so thoroughly which has helped us to be skilled optometrists. I am proud to see various alumni from BVP flying high in Optometry. As foreigners, we had to do our internships in Pune. I clearly remember one time, it was me, an Iranian and an African were on duty at Bharati hospital. Though I could manage Hindi, I couldn't speak Marathi. It was an experience examining the almost illiterate people from villages who we could hardly communicate with. Though I thought it was an unfair appointment at that point I realized later on in life, that the experience gained by that appointment was immense. Overall I'm very satisfied with the knowledge and the experience given by the BVP School of Optometry. I wish the very best to the present faculty and students of the institute to carry on the BVP name higher in the field of Optometry.

I wanted to show my gratitude to Bharti Vidyapeeth University and all its staff, where I graduated with an M.Sc. (Computer Science) & Ph.D. (Computer Science) under the guidance of very supportive and kind professors. It was a period of smooth learning and feeling at home despite not being in my home country. All the staff from the peons to the principal and above were attentive and helpful.

I am pursuing a master's degree in optometry at BV(DU) MC School of optometry, Pune, I am learning new advancements and ideas in the field of optometry. Faculty members are helpful and kind. Whenever I want to learn, they always allow me to approach them. Research-related ideas are also being discussed with them. Labs are available to conduct low vision, dispensing, orthoptics, and contact lens practicals. We have the opportunity to perform at a variety of eye check-up camps. Apart from a great educational experience, the environment in the Bharti Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) is very eco-friendly. We have a sports field, canteens, and library access to books and journals. There is a medical insurance facility available for us. Having the opportunity to study at Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) has been very rewarding for me.

As soon as I landed in Pune, I immediately fell in love with the city and when I saw the campus it really took my breath away. The ambiance was very beautiful, fresh, calm, and peaceful. The University also has an international student cell, which is a lifesaver for foreign students like me. It solves most of the problems that a student can encounter and provides very helpful support and assistance. Apart from these, there are numerous clubs and groups in the college that have helped me improve my skills, boost my confidence, and develop my overall character. I am blessed to be part of this university because not only does it foster academic excellence, but it also promotes extracurricular activities that have enabled me to realize my full potential.

The faculty is very supportive, friendly, cooperative & always helped me at all times. Even in the pandemic, the faculty has always been just a call away & helped us with our difficulties, ensuring constant development & learning. In addition to the college, there is an excellent hostel as well. The university has an anti-ragging policy and the students are very friendly. Being around students from all parts of the country provided me the opportunity to learn more about its cultural diversity. Having fun in the hostel, and studying with friends are the best parts of my hostel life.

As a student at Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University)'s School of Optometry, the most valuable aspect of my education was not only the sheer volume of patient encounters, but the quality of clinical instruction and the amount of learning I gained from every patient encounter. I feel very fortunate to have been so thoroughly prepared for clinical practice by some of the brightest and most passionate instructors. There is no doubt that Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University)'s School of Optometry provides excellent classroom education, but what truly sets BVP Optometry apart from similar professional schools is the clinical experience the students gain by the end of their years in the program. Throughout my 3rd year of optometry training, I had the opportunity to directly evaluate numerous patients and become proficient in all areas of optometry patient care. I believe that because of this exceptional clinical preparation, BVP Optometry graduates all share a common trait, and that is a smooth transition to the real world of optometry patient care as an independent practitioner.
