Programme Overview

M. Ch. (Paediatrics Surgery) is a three-year full-time postgraduate programme that is designed to train the students in the surgery of fetuses, infants, children, adolescents, and young adults. The curriculum of the programme is prepared to make the students competent in the various fields of paediatric conditions, treatment, surgery and management.

Programme Outcomes

Application of Knowledge - Through the programme, the students will understand the basic sciences and principles of paediatric medical care and apply them to clinical practice.
Building of SkillsThe students will learn how to evaluate a patient thoroughly, diagnose and plan management. The programme will also build the surgery skills and proficiency in post-surgery care.
Communication - By the end of the programme, the students will learn how to build their oral and written communication skills so that they can effectively communicate with the guardians of the patients and give counselling.
