4th February is celebrated as “World Cancer Day”. Theme for the year 2024 was “CLOSE THE CARE GAP”.
The 3rd Year Basic B.Sc Nursing  students of Bharati Vidyapeeth (DU), College of Nursing, Sangli, celebrated World Cancer Day at Siddhivinayak Ganapati Cancer Hospital, Miraj on 16th February 2024.
The students performed a role play that created awareness about cervical cancer and also informed about the HPV vaccine. Moreover, they had also displayed digital posters and explained about causes, prevention and treatment modalities of Cancer.
Many were benefitted with the activity that was planned for Cancer Day celebration and the students were appreciated by the authorities of Siddhivinayak Cancer Hospital for their efforts.
