Overview

The Department of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics focuses on the research field and encourages the faculty and students to participate in the projects. The college has 29 papers published in different journals of national and international importance.

Research Area

The Department of Orthodontics has focused on contributing to the emerging areas of biomechanics, metallurgy and on materials used in orthodontics. The major theme underlying the department’s research portfolio is the application of innovative science to generate newer methods in clinical application with a mixture of theory and clinical aspects.

Publications

To date, the college has published 29 papers in various national and international journals. The students and faculty are encouraged and supported to work on projects and to publish the papers on different platforms.
