State-of-the-art dental chairs and other necessary equipment are available in the department to help render the best comprehensive treatments that range from preventive to palliative care. The patients will be able to understand the various common dental diseases, their etiology and prevention of the same through a well-maintained dental museum. The knowledge is provided at the museum through digital displays, working models and posters.
An integral part of the department is the fully functional Tobacco Cessation Centre (TCC) that aims to identify, educate and help quit the tobacco habit more scientifically. The state-of-the-art Carbon Monoxide (CO) monitor is used to identify the CO levels among smokers and to make them aware of the exposure of the same.
