The Department of Public Health Dentistry has been one of the most enriching parts of my BDS journey, and I will always be grateful for every lesson it has given me. Under the constant guidance and encouragement of Shrivardhan Sir, Tanushri Ma'am, Priyanka Ma'am, Chetan Sir and Rajani Ma'am, I learned far more than just dentistry—they supported us at every step, patiently mentored us, and helped us develop the communication skills and public relations needed to genuinely connect with the community.
They transformed community postings into meaningful learning experiences and sparked in me a deep appreciation for the analytical and statistical side of dentistry, making research something I truly enjoy rather than just another academic requirement. Their belief in their students, their dedication to teaching, and the values they instilled have shaped a part of who I am today, both as a budding dentist and as an individual. I will always look back on my time in this department with immense gratitude, respect and admiration for the incredible mentors who made such a lasting impact on my life.
