The subject practice of medicine is one of the core subjects which the students study for III BHMS and IV BHMS. It deals with diagnosis, management and prognosis of various diseases. The emphasis is given on application of principles of Homoeopathy and Homoeopathic treatment for various clinical conditions.
During III and IV BHMS clinics exhaustive hands on training is given under the faculties guidance. Clinical correlation of Anatomy, Physiological and Materia Medica and its implementation in clinical practice is main focus of Medicine Department teaching (Subject).
Our department is well equipped with experienced and enthusiastic faculty members. We have adequate teaching, learning facilities to enable the students to learn this subject. As a result of our untiring efforts our students pass out with flying colors and are able to deliver their knowledge when they pass out from college. The results of both U.G. and P.G. courses are 98% to 100% consistently.
We also encourage the students to get well acquainted to the Researches in medical field. Our interns complete one assignment as part of Internship and during U.G. course and our P.G. scholars complete their dissertation u der the supervision of their respective guides. The research articles are published by the P.G. scholars in UGC care listed journals. Our P.G. scholars and interns also attend mobile clinics at Yavat on every Wednesday serving the rural poor, and underprivileged population under the motto "Homeopathy at your doorstep". Thus I am glad to mention that our Department works in congruence with the Vision and mission of our Institute.
