Campus Facilities

The college infrastructure has been designed to ensure that the students are able to access well-equipped classrooms, laboratories and other facilities. The infrastructure follows the norms prescribed by the Central Council of Homoeopathy. New Delhi.

Overview

The Homoeopathic Medical College offers the required campus facilities for the students to have a smooth experience during their academic years.

Students will be able to access various facilities in the college building as well as the hospital situated on the campus.

Seminar hall

At the Homeopathic Hospital, a seminar hall is available with a capacity of 150 seats. During the seminars and guest lectures, two LCD projectors and four OHP projectors will be made available to help the programme run smoothly.

Common Room

The college building offers a spacious common room where the students can relax during their stay at the campus. The common room has adequate water and sanitation facilities so that the students enjoy a comfortable free time.

Hostels

The Homeopathic Medical College offers hostel facilities in the Dhankawadi campus of Bharati Vidyapeeth. There are separate hostels for girls and boys that have all of the required facilities to make the stay comfortable and pleasant.

Sports

For extracurricular activities, the students will be able to access both indoor and outdoor sports facilities. The campus has a spacious field where various sports can be played.

Students are encouraged to participate in all forms of sports during their academic years.

College building

The Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital is located at the Dhankawadi campus of Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University. The main college infrastructure is a spacious 35000 sq. ft building that provides an administrative wing with thirteen classrooms, three laboratories, a dissection hall, four museums, a gymnasium and a state of the art library with two reading rooms. In terms of security, the entire college building is under the surveillance of 32 CCTV cameras, located at different sites like the entrance and the back gate, biometric attendance area, office, exam control room, classrooms, laboratories, museum, library, reading room, corridor and the terrace.

Hospital building

Within the campus, the Homoeopathic Hospital (Corporation registered) is situated at the premises of 32000 sq. ft. The hospital is well equipped with 100 beds, an operation theatre, a Labour Room and laboratories. Inside the hospital, facilities such as X-ray, USG, ECG, Nebulization, etc., can also be accessed.

Similar to the college campus, the hospital building is also surrounded by 31 CCTV cameras for security purposes. All important areas such as the hospital entrance, OPD registration, waiting area, biometric attendance area, PG seminar Hall, PG library, PG office, corridor and staircase are covered by the CCTVs.

Lecture Hall

The college building has adequately spaced and ventilated lecture halls for all students. For academic activities, there are six undergraduate and five postgraduate lecture halls, which are safely secured with CCTV cameras.

Auditorium

The Homoeopathic Medical College has a well-spaced auditorium with a capacity of 500 people. Various programmes, seminars, conferences and other important events are held in this air-conditioned auditorium. All of the colleges in the Dhankawadi campus share the auditorium for different purposes.
