Anti-Ragging Poster Making Competition

The institute is observing Anti-Ragging Week from 12th August to 18th August 2025. As a part of it, an Anti-Ragging Themed Poster Making Competition was organized on Saturday, 16th August 2025 to create awareness among students about the harmful effects of ragging and to promote a culture of respect and harmony on campus.

The competition saw enthusiastic participation from students across various courses, who expressed their ideas through impactful visuals and meaningful slogans. Posters carried strong messages such as “Say No to Ragging, Yes to Friendship”, “Respect is Greater than Fear”, and “Ragging is a Crime, Not a Tradition.”

Faculty members and staff visited the competition venue to encourage participants and appreciate their creative efforts. Their presence added motivation and strengthened the message of unity against ragging.

On this occasion, Director Dr. Pallavi Jamsandekar addressed the gathering and remarked, “Ragging has no place in a healthy learning environment. We believe in nurturing relationships based on respect, empathy, and cooperation. Such competitions help spread awareness and ensure that our campus remains safe and inclusive for all.”

All participants were applauded for their active contribution in supporting the anti-ragging campaign. The event once again highlighted IMRDA’s commitment to maintaining a positive and student-friendly atmosphere.
