Swami Buddhananda Maharaj, a monk of Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, has been serving the society for over two decades through spiritual, educational, and humanitarian activities. Drawing from his vast experience in conducting values-education seminars and student development programs across India, Swamiji urged students to cultivate character, discipline, and clarity of purpose in their academic and personal lives.
“Education is not just for earning a livelihood; it is for building character and developing the courage to say no to destructive habits,” Swamiji said, warning students about the devastating impact of drug addiction on individuals, families, and society.
The session, which lasted for an hour including an interactive Q&A, was well received by students. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. B.D. Patil. Prof. R.Y. Mujawar and Dr. B.D. Patil worked as event coordinators.
